Although the RLPA Reboot Draft doesn't officially begin until May 3rd, the California Angels have already kicked it off by announcing the selection of 20-year old fireballing RHP Dwight Gooden. A native of Tampa, Florida, Gooden comes equipped with a strong fastball-curveball combination the has scouts raving and despite his young age, the Angels seem convinced he is the best player for their organization.
