Roy Halladay is capable of a great game every time he takes the hill and last week the Colorado Rockies hurler proved that point with gusto to become the newest National Player of the Week.

He picked up 2 wins and no losses and rang up 25 strikeouts in 16 innings to finish with a splendid 0.00 ERA.

Up to now Halladay has compiled an ERA of 2.43 with a 15-9 mark over 31 starts. He has 301 strikeouts in 240.1 innings and has held opponents to a .214 batting average.
